Requirements and Deposit
To rent a scooter with us, it is essential to meet the following requirements:
- Minimum Age: 18 years old (with A1/A licence) or 21 years old (with car licence).
- Driving Licence:
- Class A1, A2 or A (Motorcycle).
- Or Class B (Car) held for more than 3 years.
- Documentation: Original physical ID card or Passport.
- Deposit: €150 (Card or Cash), fully refundable at the end.
- Insurance: Third-party included. €500 excess in case of theft or severe damage.
Moped licences (AM) are not accepted.

FAQ
Can I ride with my car driving licence?
Yes, as long as you have held your B (car) licence for at least 3 years. If you have had it for less time, it is not permitted by law.
How does the deposit work?
A deposit of €150 (card or cash) is left when picking up the scooter. If you return it in the same condition as we delivered it (no damage, petrol ok, keys ok), we will refund the deposit immediately.
Can I go up to Mount Teide?
Yes, the 125cc scooters go up perfectly on the main roads. We only ask you to be careful on the curves and to take warm clothes with you.
What does the insurance cover?
The price includes Third-Party Insurance and roadside assistance. Damage to the scooter itself (bumps, scratches) or theft are NOT included: there is a maximum excess of €500. If something happens, the deposit (€150) will be used to cover part of the cost, but you will have to pay the difference to cover the repair.
Do you deliver to hotels?
No. For scooter rentals, pick-up and drop-off is always at our office at Calle Aceviño, 2.
